The included ARRI PL and Canon EF lens mounts can be easily swapped with separately available bayonets to match different cameras, and the lens is compatible with MOFAGE POCO drop-in filters, making it a versatile and ideal solution for high-end film production.
Beyond Full-Frame Coverage
The generous 44.7mm image circle enhances image quality by reducing vignetting, providing optimal coverage for the widely used ARRI ALEXA LF 4.5K Open Gate. The imaging area covers full-frame sensors and 16:9, 3:2, and 4:3 formats, allowing easy output to 2:1, 2.25:1, 2.66:1, and 2.4:1 aspect ratios while maintaining quality.
Constant 1.5x Squeeze Ratio
With a 1.5x squeeze ratio, the Laowa Nanomorph achieves a 2.66:1 aspect ratio on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeeze, delivering a much more pronounced anamorphic and cinematic look compared to a 1.33x anamorphic lens.
Consistent Bokeh from Center to Edge
The shape of the bokeh changes from the center to the edges of the frame, sometimes taking on a moon-shaped appearance, which can occasionally be distracting. In contrast, the Nanomorph LF delivers a more consistent bokeh across the frame.
Waterfall Bokeh
The iris ranges from T2.9 to T22 across the entire series, enabling filming in all lighting conditions and meeting the dynamic demands of on-set production. Great Flexibility in Composition
Many anamorphic lenses on the market exhibit compression artifacts near the edges of the frame, causing the size and shape of objects to change (i.e., swimming effect), especially when positioned near the edges.
